Introduction To Houseplants: How To Keep Them Happy Workshop

Come and learn about the world of houseplants and how to keep them happy.

This workshop includes a glass of fizz upon arrival, an informative talk with demonstrations, and a practical activity propagating Pilea peperomioides baby plants to take home at the end.

The focus of this workshop is to provide an insight into the different types of plants available and how to look after them. All aspects of houseplant care will be covered including the different types of houseplants available, watering, light, temperature, humidity, feeding, pots, repotting, soil types, propagation and air purifying houseplants.

Pilea peperomioides plants are unique as they grow babies up from their roots, giving a constant supply of new plants. Participants will receive full guidance on the propagation of the Pilea babies, and can take their potted Pilea home in an eco friendly biopot.

All levels of knowledge on houseplants are welcome. Not only will you walk away with your very own Pilea peperomioides plant, you will also have the information to feel confident about choosing the right plants and how to keep them thriving.

As featured on the front cover of Bath Life Magazine January 2019.

Workshops will be held after hours at Moo and Two tea and coffeeshop on Catherine Hill, Frome. Our classes will be kept to a maximum of 8. Each workshop will be two hours long.
